Today we continued “Looking at our Local Community” and we had a visit from our librarian, Dolores who works in the library in Bandon.  she talked to the pupils about the different types of books you can get in a library: fiction and non-fiction, children through to adult, paper, audio, dvd etc

she brought forms in for them to fill in at home if they want to become members of Bandon Library. This is now free.

she also showed them some of the new books just into the library and read some of a Roald Dahl book called “The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me”
