Quilling Calendars

The older pupils in the school were introduced to a new Art form “Quilling”, where you twirl thin paper around a pin with a slit at the top and then you use pritt stick to glue it to form a circle. You can either have a tight circle or a loose circle, the loose circle can also be pushed into squares and tear shapes to make very effective pictures.  we found quilling to be very therapeutic after the initial intro and a few starts and stops.

These are our final results which we made into calendars, as you can see they are very detailed and very effective.
