Pride and Prejudice

6th class have just finished reading “Pride and Prejudice” they loved all the characters, especially Lady Catherine de Bourgh, and like to copy her in her haughty ways and manner. We found this great site on the internet “Regency Dress Up Dolls”, it allows you to dress the ladies and the men of that time period in appropriate clothes for morning wear, going out promenading and going out to balls. It gave the pupils an insight to the many layers of clothing they wore and the rules you had to follow to be the perfect gentleman and the perfect lady, into the “Etiquette of the Regency Time”. The pupils drew their own fashion pictures of the era.
