We had our annual carol service in St Bartholomew’s Church in Kinneigh at 10am, on Sunday 6th December. We were so lucky, that apart from two pupils who were sick, everyone else made it, while West Cork suffered at the hands of flooding after Storm Desmond.
The pupils read word perfect and the Junior Room preformed their play “The Nativity” beautifully. The school group sang 3 songs on their own for the carol service, our favourite was “There is a Star” by Sarah MacIntosh. It a beautiful song and 6th class sang 3 verses on their own.
