Aladdin in Trouble
Presented by
Desertserges National School
At Gaggin Hall
On Thursday June 19th at 8pm
A lot of hard work, sweat and tears went into the production of “Aladdin in Trouble”, But on the night there were only tears of laughter as puns and one-liners dissolved the audience into a giggling disarray delving into their bags for tissues.
The standard of acting and singing, especially the number of solo singers was of an extremely high standard. It is extremely difficult to teach pupils to get the timing right for jokes but it worked on the night!
We would like to thank the following without whom this production would not be possible.
The pupils and staff of Desertserges National School for all the work they have put into this production.
Sue Blake who has worked tirelessly towards pulling this production together and her drama team, especially Brian, Shia and Andrea.
We would like to thank Ellen who has given up three weeks to come and help out in the school. and to Lindsay, Ruairi, Alex and Kelise for helping out on the day.
The parents who have helped with the Props, make up, costumes and with refreshments on the night.
We extend a big thank you to all the companies and shops who sponsored prizes for our raffle and to Bandon Grammar for allowing us the use of their stage steps.
Desertserges National School would like to offer a massive thank you
to Gaggin Hall Committee and to Gaggin Dramatic Society for allowing us the use of their hall and stage and their lighting and sound equipment.
We extend a massive thank you to “Prop Me Up” (Ireland’s largest Prop Hire Company specialising in themed events) for the use of their props, the scenery, lamp, throne, treasure chest and electric flames which added the wow factor to the play.
